We are seeking an experienced EPIC Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of clinical systems, specifically within Stork and EpicCare Inpatient Orders. This role plays a critical part in enhancing healthcare delivery by ensuring reliable system performance, effective workflows, and seamless collaboration between technical teams and clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, design, and implement EPIC modules, focusing on Stork and EpicCare Inpatient Orders
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Support system build, testing (unit, integrated, UAT), and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes
- Deliver end-user training and support change management initiatives
- Ensure system compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and improve system usability
- Document system configurations, processes, and enhancements
Required Qualifications
- EPIC certification in Stork and EpicCare Inpatient Orders
- Proven experience in EPIC system implementation or support within healthcare environments
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, especially inpatient and obstetrics modules
- Experience in system configuration, testing, and deployment lifecycle
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience in large-scale healthcare transformation programs
- Knowledge of integration tools and healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7)
- Prior consulting experience within a professional services environment
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
