Help Shape the Future of Our Homes and Communities

This is an exciting opportunity to join Accent at a pivotal point in our journey as we deliver an ambitious new Asset Strategy that will help us create sustainable, high-performing communities for the future.

We're looking for a Property Transaction Officer to lead the coordination and delivery of property sales, transfers and acquisitions that support our long-term strategic goals. This is more than a transactional role. It's an opportunity to influence the homes we hold, improve value for money, and ensure our resources are invested where they can have the greatest impact for our customers and communities.

If you're organised, commercially aware and enjoy bringing people together to achieve successful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

As a key member of our Asset Strategy team, you'll play a leading role in delivering Accent's portfolio optimisation programme. Working closely with colleagues across the business, customers, solicitors, agents, auction providers and other external partners, you'll oversee the journey from initial approval through to completion.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating property sales, transfers and acquisitions
  • Managing the steps required to market and dispose of identified properties
  • Working with auction houses, agents and professional advisers
  • Monitoring progress across multiple transactions and programmes
  • Maintaining accurate records, data and performance reporting
  • Supporting governance and decision-making processes
  • Ensuring customers are supported throughout the transaction process
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leaders

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys managing complex processes, building strong relationships and driving projects forward. You'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience leading property disposals, acquisitions, stock rationalisation or asset management activities.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence managing multiple activities and deadlines
  • Experience coordinating projects, programmes or transactions
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences
  • A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of confidential and sensitive information handling.

Most importantly, you'll be motivated by making a difference and helping to deliver positive outcomes for our customers, communities and business.

Interviews

We want your candidate experience to reflect who we are - a place to grow, a place to thrive, a place to be you.

Stage 1: A Place to Connect

A Teams interview with the hiring manager. You'll learn more about the role and team, and we'll get to know you - your experience, goals, and what you bring. Planned date: 5th and 6th September via Teams.

Stage 2: A Place to Show Your Strengths

A role related assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. You'll be asked to complete a Congruity Questionnaire in advance. Planned date: TBC

We aim to make the process clear, supportive, and genuinely valuable - a place where you feel informed and confident at every step.

A place to build a future

We've got big ambitions and we're looking for people who want to grow with us. Here, you'll have the chance to learn new skills, shape your career, and thrive in a collaborative environment where your ideas matter.

And because we believe great work deserves great rewards, here's what you can look forward to:

  • Generous time off - 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, an extra day for your birthday, and the option to buy more.
  • Health & wellbeing support - Cash health plan, Health MOTs, online GP access, gym discounts, and a dedicated volunteering day for a cause you care about.
  • Financial perks - Car leasing options, salary sacrifice schemes, and exclusive discounts through our benefits platform to help your money go further.
  • Future-focused benefits - Access to both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit pension schemes through salary sacrifice, plus life assurance at three times your salary for peace of mind.
  • Family-friendly policies - Enhanced parental leave, flexible working options, and support for work-life balance.
  • Career development - From Stepping into Management and Management Essentials training to our Leadership Academy, apprenticeships, and more - we'll help you grow and succeed.

This is more than a job - it's a place where you can make an impact, feel valued, and be rewarded for what you do.
