Location: Hybrid with travel to schemes and other offices as required. This position covers the North and can be based at our Bradford/Burnley/Stockton offices.
Salary: £40,316 per annum (including car allowance)
Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

About the role
As our Health and Safety Advisor for the North, you'll provide expert health and safety advice and assurance across our social housing operations, helping us meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a housing provider. You'll support managers and colleagues to manage risk effectively within a housing environment, ensuring the safety of both customers and employees while contributing to a strong safety culture across the organisation.
This will be achieved through delivering colleague safety training programmes, supporting and advising colleagues in your areas and auditing to a schedule in order to monitor and analyse the performance of the health and safety management system. You'll also be involved in accident investigations and providing a responsive service to colleagues and customers when they need advice on Health and Safety matters.
Salary
The spot salary for this post is £39,066 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you're still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount. Plus an essential car user allowance starting at £1,250 per annum.
