At Accent, we're embarking on an exciting new chapter in the delivery of our Asset Strategy, and we're looking for a Property Appraisal Officer to help us make some of the most important recommendations about the future of our homes and communities. This is a unique opportunity to influence how we invest in, improve and manage our housing portfolio. Through detailed analysis, financial modelling and evidence-based recommendations, you'll play a key role in ensuring our homes deliver the greatest possible value for our customers, communities and charitable purpose.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assessing the performance and viability of individual properties and larger portfolios, helping inform the direction around:
    • Investment and reinvestment opportunities
    • Property improvements and major repairs
    • Redevelopment projects
    • Long-term asset performance and value for money
    • Disposal strategies

About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with commercial awareness and a passion for making a difference. You may come from a housing, property, finance, asset management, investment, valuation or analytical background and will ideally have experience of:

  • Financial modelling and business case development
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Asset appraisal or investment evaluation
  • Producing recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Working with large and complex datasets

Most importantly, you'll be curious, confident in your analysis and able to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging way.
