Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

About the role
Step into a role where your expertise shapes a better experience for our customers. As a Service Charge Accountant, you’ll ensure service charge costs are accurate, transparent, and fully compliant with regulations and occupancy agreements, directly contributing to our financial strength and our customers’ trust. You’ll work with a committed team to deliver sharp forecasting, clear budgeting, and reliable reporting. This role is perfect for someone who understands housing and service charges, keeps up with industry changes, and isn’t afraid to question, challenge, and champion what’s right for our customers. The essentials
- Strong understanding of service charge legislation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven management accounting experience
- Hands-on experience preparing auditable service charge accounts
- Solid knowledge of different housing tenure types
- A recognised finance qualification (or working towards one)

- Understanding of different scheme structures
- Ability to read and interpret tenancy agreements/leases.
