About the role
Your expertise can influence change that matters. As a Policy Advisor you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the policies that drive our mission and ensure we’re ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
What you’ll do:
- Research, develop and review policies that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Write clear evidence-based policy briefings that inform decision-making at every level.
- Monitor sector trends, regulations and legislation - raising key issues at the right time.
- Coordinate consultation responses working collaboratively with subject matter experts and colleagues.
- Manage the policy framework and ensure governance processes are followed.
- Influence positively across the organisation and externally building strong relationships.

Salary
The spot salary for the Policy Advisor post is £44,189 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants who do not meet all the requirements of the post will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
- Proven experience in policy development, research and analysis preferably within the housing sector.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation, regulations and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear actionable policies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups.
Policy Advisor Interviews
