Build Your Finance Career While Making a Difference We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll support the Service Charge Accountant and wider service charge team in delivering accurate service charge budgets, forecasts and accounts. You'll play a key role in ensuring service charge costs are calculated and allocated correctly, helping us provide a transparent and positive experience for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and a finance background who enjoys working with data, solving problems and ensuring accuracy. Supporting the preparation of service charge budgets, forecasts and year-end accounts. Assisting with the calculation and allocation of service charge costs in line with occupancy agreements and regulatory requirements. Maintaining accurate financial records and service charge data. Producing customer communications and financial information with a high level of accuracy. Supporting key finance processes and ensuring deadlines are met. Working closely with the Service Charge Accountant and wider Finance team to deliver excellent customer outcomes. Salary The spot salary for the Finance Officer post is Circa £32,000 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you’re still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount. Hands on experience of accounting and financial principles e.g. month end processes, forecasting, budget setting etc. Experience using finance systems and working with financial data. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including experience working with formulas, large datasets and data manipulation. Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to strict deadlines Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships Part-qualified in a relevant accounting qualification (or actively working towards qualification) Interviews Stage 1: Planned date: 28th September at our Bradford office.
