Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
Salary: £38,194 per annum (spot salary; lower for developmental candidates with progression plan)
About The Role
Ensure service charge costs are accurate, transparent, and fully compliant with regulations and occupancy agreements, contributing to financial strength and customer trust. Deliver forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, while staying informed on housing legislation and challenging processes when needed.
About You
- Strong understanding of service charge legislation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven management accounting experience
- Hands-on experience preparing auditable service charge accounts
- Solid knowledge of different housing tenure types
- A recognised finance qualification (or working towards one)
Desirable:
- Social housing experience
- Understanding of different scheme structures
- Ability to read and interpret tenancy agreements/leases
