What You’ll Do
- Build automation: Create and maintain clean, reliable UI/API test scripts using Playwright or similar framework, helping us scale quality as we modernise.
- Embed automation into CI/CD: Integrate tests into fast, stable pipelines that protect release quality and give teams clear signals when something needs attention.
- Test across the SDLC: Support all stages of testing, automate where it counts, use manual where it adds insight.
- Agile ways of working: Collaborate closely with developers and product owners. Join stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retros to shift‑left, improve flow, and help make quality everyone’s responsibility.
- Improve quality: Use metrics to drive smarter testing and ultimately better shipped software.
About You
You’ll bring solid automation testing experience and a good understanding of software development practices, with strong skills in defect tracking, resolution, and working closely with operational and technical teams. You understand the change and release management process and how testing fits within it. Experience with tools like Google Playwright or Selenium, familiarity with cloud technologies, ITIL, or embedding testing into CI/CD pipelines would be a real advantage.
