Role Overview
Are you a detail‑oriented law graduate looking to develop your legal career in a varied, hands‑on role? Do you want the opportunity to gain exposure to real estate, housing, commercial contracts, governance and legal compliance within a growing and supportive legal team? We’re looking for a proactive Paralegal to join our Legal Team, providing high‑quality legal support across a broad range of property and commercial matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, and gaining practical experience across multiple areas of law.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of property, real estate and commercial contract matters.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, leases and title reports.
- Supporting property transactions, title investigations and housing‑related matters.
- Conducting legal research and providing updates on legislative and regulatory changes.
- Working with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to deliver practical legal support.
- Maintaining legal records, documents and contract databases.
- Supporting governance, compliance activities, legal enquiries and business projects.
Qualifications
- A Law Degree (LLB) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL).
- Experience working within a legal environment, ideally in a paralegal or legal support role.
- Experience or exposure to property law, real estate transactions or conveyancing.
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong legal research, written communication and drafting skills.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive mindset, sound judgement and the confidence to use your initiative.
Salary
The spot salary for this post is £35,008 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you’re still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.
