We are currently looking for a self-motivated HR Advisor who is able to hit the ground running, to join our busy HR department on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will provide specialist HR support and advice to employees and managers across the business. A core element of the role is the effective management of an Employee Relations (ER) caseload, covering a wide range of people-related issues.

The HR Advisor will support and coach managers through the appropriate ER processes, ensuring cases are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation and company policies. Maintaining a people-focused approach, the role aims to drive positive employee outcomes while effectively managing risk.

The role will contribute to the ongoing development of HR policies, learning and development activity, and manager capability across the business, including onboarding, inductions, and the delivery of practical HR workshops. The HR Advisor will also support ad-hoc HR projects and produce HR reports as required.

The successful candidate will be available for an immediate start and be able to commit to a 3-month fixed-term contract.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience of working at HR Advisor level with extensive experience of managing employee relations cases (investigations, disciplinaries, grievances etc)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees, managers, colleagues and clients both orally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to get things right
  • Discrete with an awareness of data protection and confidentiality
  • Ability to build strong and productive relationships with employees and managers throughout the business
  • Professional attitude and a calm manner
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Ideally be CIPD qualified at Level 5 or above

Salary & Benefits: £40K- £43K Pro-rata

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Based at our prestigious riverside offices in Staines-upon-Thames
