In this role you will:

  • Prepare site trading accounts / invoices
  • Review and prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports including variance analysis
  • Prepare journals
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including cashless system reconciliations
  • Prepare and phase site budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the Operations team
  • Contribute to the drafting of the company budget and forecasts
  • Oversee the investment tracker and fixed asset register
  • Provide accounting support to onsite catering managers
  • Mentor and develop more junior members of the finance team
  • Carry out ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Set up Excel templates and contribute to systems development

You will:

  • Be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (or be qualified by experience)
  • Have significant experience in an SME
  • Have strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Have very good IT skills, including Excel
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels within the business.

SALARY: Salary £45-50K per annum plus £2,500 bonus

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

LOCATION: The role is based in Accent’s Head Office in Staines-upon-Thames
