In this role you will:
- Prepare site trading accounts / invoices
- Review and prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports including variance analysis
- Prepare journals
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including cashless system reconciliations
- Prepare and phase site budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the Operations team
- Contribute to the drafting of the company budget and forecasts
- Oversee the investment tracker and fixed asset register
- Provide accounting support to onsite catering managers
- Mentor and develop more junior members of the finance team
- Carry out ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Set up Excel templates and contribute to systems development
You will:
- Be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (or be qualified by experience)
- Have significant experience in an SME
- Have strong numerical and analytical skills
- Have very good IT skills, including Excel
- Have strong attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
SALARY: Salary £45-50K per annum plus £2,500 bonus
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
LOCATION: The role is based in Accent’s Head Office in Staines-upon-Thames
