We’re seeking an experienced, commercially astute Operations Support Manager to work in partnership with the Operations Manager, supporting service delivery across our education catering sites and ensuring an excellent experience for our school customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive operational excellence and support our teams in delivering fresh, nutritious, and high-quality food experiences to schools and communities. These will be predominantly secondary schools but may also include a small number of primary schools.
You should have a genuine passion for food, excellent people skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and health & safety standards, along with experience in budgeting, financial control, waste management, and stock control. You must be flexible and comfortable with travelling to different schools weekly and occasionally daily with last minute diary changes. There will be occasions when support might include covering the Chef Manager, and therefore the ideal candidate will have craft-based cooking skills.
The role will be based mainly in Bromley, Greenwich and Ilford, but may involve travel to other Accent sites on occasion. We play an important part in students' learning and development, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion about ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle.
