  • ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
  • Staines‑upon‑Thames | £26‑27K per annum plus bonus | Full‑time (37.5 hrs/week)

Accent Catering is looking for a highly organised, detail‑focused Administration Assistant to support our Accounts team.

In this role you will be the main point of contact for site managers, assist with weekly accounting returns, and ensure accurate financial records across all catering sites.

Responsibilities

  • Check weekly accounting returns from catering sites
  • Act as a point of contact for site managers
  • Respond to employee queries by email and telephone
  • Liaise with catering managers to improve bookkeeping standards
  • Provide feedback on errors and suggest improvements
  • Carry out general admin tasks (opening post, filing, answering phones, etc.)
  • Support the purchase ledger team as required

Qualifications

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within an accounts or finance environment
  • Confident IT skills – Word & Excel to intermediate level
  • Strong appreciation for order, structure and accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with site managers and operations teams
  • Attention to detail and a desire to get things right
  • AAT qualified at Level 2, or keen to begin an AAT qualification
  • Interest in developing a career in finance and accounts administration
