We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Richmond, for a Baker to join the team at Accent. Starting September 2026, this is a permanent position, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break, term-time only - so all the school holidays off.

Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will mainly consist of:

  • Prepare and cook cakes, biscuits and traybakes
  • Food preparation
  • Serving, cleaning and washing up
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
  • Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
  • Undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
