Salary: £38,000 per annum plus bonus and mileage

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - no late nights and all weekends off

Working only 44 weeks of the year plus holiday.

We want you... People are the most important ingredient in our business recipe, and we are currently looking for an experienced Regional Chef Manager with fantastic craft skills and a background of developing and leading people to join the team at Accent Catering. You should be an experienced Chef with great people skills and a strong understanding of all aspects of food safety and health & safety, budgeting, finance, managing wastage and stock controls. You must be flexible and comfortable with travelling to different schools weekly and occasionally daily with last minute diary changes. The role will be based mainly in Ilford, Orpington, Bromley, Greenwich and parts of Essex, although it may involve travel to other Accent sites from time to time as required.

As our ideal Regional Chef Manager you will:

  • Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchen
  • Have proven experience of managing, training and leading a team
  • Have a full driving license enabling you to drive in the UK
  • Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
  • Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
  • Have excellent IT skills, financial and budget awareness and a good understanding of GP calculation
  • Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
