We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join the team at Accent Catering. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a key role responsible for overseeing the procurement of food and beverage products across our multi-site contract catering business. Working closely with the Sales, Operations, Culinary and Finance teams, you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and continuity of supply across the business.
We are looking for a commercially minded and highly organised individual with strong purchasing experience within the food service sector, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be proactive, analytical and confident building strong relationships with both suppliers and colleagues throughout the business.

As our Purchasing Manager, you will be:
- Negotiating supplier contracts, pricing and commercial agreements
- Managing supplier relationships and monitoring supplier performance
- Reviewing pricing and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Supporting Operations and Sales teams with purchasing information and client tenders
- Monitoring market trends and issuing regular buying updates
- Conducting supplier reviews and tender exercises
- Supporting compliance and purchasing best practice across the business
- Producing reports and supporting key business projects
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in food and beverage buying within the Food Service sector (multi-site preferred)
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
- Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced environment
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to present information clearly and effectively
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving
