People are the most important ingredient in our business recipe, and we are looking for an experienced Chef with fantastic craft skills and a thorough understanding and knowledge of managing allergens to help us create an outstanding food offer at our school site in Ilford, Essex with approximately 1800 children on site. You will be reporting into the Chef Manager at the main school site.

- Have excellent craft skills and some bakery skills/experience.
- Have experience of and be competent in managing allergens.
- Have a proven track record of continually improving standards.
- Have good communication skills at all levels.

- Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books.
- The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.

£14.50 per hour term‑time only. Working only 38 weeks of the year! 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 2:45pm, with a 15‑minute unpaid break.
