We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in New Malden, KT3 for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent. This is a permanent position, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only - so all the school holidays off!

Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- General kitchen duties
- Putting away deliveries
- Food preparation
- Serving, cleaning and washing up
- Assisting with inventory management
- Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
- Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
- Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team
This is a customer-facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
