Catering Assistant (Ref 230)

Full-Time No home office possible

Overview

Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. This is a customer facing position where you will work as part of a team on a variety of duties.

Responsibilities

general kitchen duties
putting away deliveries
food preparation
serving, cleaning and washing up
assisting with inventory management
maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters, keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

Additional Requirements

This is a customer facing position, so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the successful candidate

Contract details

This is a fixed term contract until 16th July 2026, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
