Role purpose

The Revenue Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of commercial strategies that enhance revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position focuses on optimizing the commercial aspects of the business, including sales, pricing, go-to-market strategies, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales, marketing, operations, finance, and executive leadership teams to ensure the alignment of commercial initiatives with the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the commercial excellence strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, goals, and market positioning.
  • Develop clear business objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the commercial excellence team, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Act as an advisor to the executive leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on commercial strategies, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and execute effective go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance market share.
  • Oversee the development of strategies, tools, and processes that improve sales effectiveness, efficiency, and performance.
  • Ensure the sales team has the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively engage customers and close deals.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning to optimize sales performance.
  • Regularly analyze pricing performance, monitor competitor pricing strategies, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing.
  • Lead initiatives to better understand customer needs, pain points, and satisfaction, translating those insights into actionable strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar Revenue/Sales Operations role covering commercial strategy, sales operations, Revenue Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in numerical related studies (Math's, Finance etc) highly advantageous or Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure in developing and executing sales strategies, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans in a complex, competitive environment.
  • Comfortable in supporting and advising cross-functional teams, working closely with finance, marketing, product, and sales teams to achieve common business objectives.
  • Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to compel others with insights and data.
  • Understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, pricing tools, data analysis and visualization software, and sales enablement platforms. Specific experience in Excel and PowerBI a huge plus.
