Design Engineer – Medical Devices
Are you a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer ready to make an impact in medical technology?
Join a well-established UK medical device manufacturer and help bring innovative products to life—from concept to market.
What You\’ll Do:
Design and develop medical devices with a focus on safety, performance, and compliance
Lead UK-based projects and coordinate with manufacturing partners
Maintain Design History Files (DHF) and execute verification & validation activities
Apply robust design principles, DFMEA, and risk management
Use 3D CAD tools to create and update engineering drawings
What We\’re Looking For:
BSc in Product Design, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience with regulated medical products and DFMEA
Knowledge of extruded/moulded components
Familiarity with ISO *****, FDA, or MDD regulations
PLM/ERP experience and proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, etc.)
Nice to Have:
Project management experience
Electronics basics and AI-enhanced design experience
