We're a fast-growing, globally recognised B2B SaaS business, and we're looking for a technically sharp Salesforce Administrator to join us on a contract basis. We need someone who can own configurations, build and optimise Flows, and isn't fazed by reviewing Apex code. You'll be embedded in the team working on a key product within our platform, helping us improve, extend, and maintain our Salesforce environment with confidence and pace.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and evolving Salesforce configurations across our org — objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and permissions
- Building, adjusting, and troubleshooting complex Flows (Screen, Record-Triggered, Scheduled, and Autolaunched)
- Reading and making targeted tweaks to existing Apex code; knowing when a declarative solution is the right call and when to escalate to a developer
- Identifying and implementing Apex actions where appropriate to extend automation beyond declarative limits
- Supporting product and engineering teams as the Salesforce subject matter expert on our core platform
- Maintaining data quality, security model, and org health
What we're looking for:
- Proven Salesforce Administrator experience, ideally Salesforce Certified (ADM201 / Platform App Builder or equivalent)
- Strong Flows experience — you can build from scratch and confidently debug existing flows
- Comfortable reading Apex; able to make minor adjustments or work closely with a developer to deliver changes
- Understanding of when to use declarative tools vs Apex vs SOQL
- Experience working in a SaaS or technology-led product environment
- Able to work independently, manage your own priorities, and integrate quickly into an agile team
- Based within approximately 2 hours of Sheffield, with willingness to travel to site periodically (circa 1 day per week or fortnight)
Nice to have:
- Experience in SaaS businesses
- Familiarity with Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
