About the Role
Seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Pre-Sales Consultant with experience in voice, data, SaaS, and cloud technologies (Azure). This role supports the sales team by providing expert technical guidance to prospective clients, aligning solutions with customer needs, and showcasing the value of offerings. The Pre-Sales Consultant acts as a bridge between the technical and sales teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in voice, data networking, SaaS solutions, and Microsoft Azure.
- Solution Design: Work with customers and internal sales teams to design appropriate technical solutions.
- Product Demonstrations: Lead product demos, technical presentations, and workshops.
- Proposal Development: Create detailed technical proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with prospective customers to understand their needs.
- Proof of Concept: Plan and execute PoC implementations.
- Collaboration: Work with product management, engineering, and customer success teams.
- Market Insight: Stay updated with the latest trends in voice, data, SaaS, and cloud services.
- Training & Enablement: Provide technical training and support to internal sales teams.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales or similar technical consulting role.
- Proficient in voice services (VoIP, SIP, PBX).
- Deep understanding of data networking (LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN).
- Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud architecture, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements within cloud and telecom environments.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, networking, or voice technologies are a plus.
