Are you a hands-on Development Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background who enjoys solving complex problems and bringing products to life? Join a well-established UK medical device manufacturer and play a key role in developing innovative products from concept through to verification, validation, and launch.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Develop and improve medical devices with a focus on performance, safety, reliability, and compliance
  • Support the full product development lifecycle (concept – prototype – validation – production)
  • Apply risk analysis & robust design tools including DFMEA and design reviews
  • Lead problem-solving / root cause investigations
  • Maintain technical documentation including Design History Files (DHF)
  • Plan and support Verification & Validation (V&V) testing and reporting
  • Create and update 3D CAD models and engineering drawings (SolidWorks / Creo or similar)
  • Work closely with manufacturing partners, suppliers, Quality & Regulatory teams

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
  • Experience in regulated products (medical devices preferred)
  • Strong understanding of risk management / DFMEA
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo etc.)
