Main Purpose of the Role
As the Mobile App Manager, you will take strategic and technical ownership of our mobile app development, leading a team of 8 engineers while remaining hands-on with Flutter development. This role blends 50% leadership and 50% hands-on coding, offering you a high-impact opportunity to shape mobile products that reach millions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of 8 mobile developers across Flutter and native technologies.
• Own team performance, delivery timelines, and code quality standards.
• Support professional growth through coaching, code reviews, and goal setting.
• Drive team structure, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on technical strategy and roadmap alignment.
Hands-on Development (50%)
• Contribute to the development of Flutter-based companion apps.
• Build and maintain modular features, services, and integrations.
• Participate in Agile sprints, including planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX, firmware, and testing teams.
• Maintain app store deployments and ensure CI/CD practices are followed.
Experience & Skills Required
• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing or leading a mobile app development team.
• 4+ years of mobile development experience (Flutter).
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and grow high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of Flutter tools, architecture, and testing practices.
• Comfortable writing clean, scalable, and testable code.
• Experience with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery frameworks.
