Everwanted a role where your work literally keeps things moving? We're working on a major upgrade and modernisation programme for critical navigation systems - and this isn't your typical engineering job. Think: RADAR systems, VHF communications, Microwave links. Working at height with some seriously good views!

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll be maintaining, installing and fault-finding on systems that keep things running 24/7!

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining & supporting operationally critical comms systems
  • Installing & upgrading RADAR, VHF & microwave equipment
  • Fault-finding across RF & telecoms systems
  • Working across multiple unique sites along the river

What we're looking for:

  • Solid background in RF/radio/telecoms engineering
  • Experience with at least 2 of the following: RADAR, VHF, microwave
  • Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance & fault-finding
  • Comfortable working in the field (and at height!)
  • A calm, problem-solving mindset when things get critical

The setup:

  • 1 in 4 on-call rota (with days off before & after)
  • Mix of team collaboration & independent working
  • Full training & support for working at height
