Everwanted a role where your work literally keeps things moving? We're working on a major upgrade and modernisation programme for critical navigation systems - and this isn't your typical engineering job. Think: RADAR systems, VHF communications, Microwave links. Working at height with some seriously good views!
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll be maintaining, installing and fault-finding on systems that keep things running 24/7!
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining & supporting operationally critical comms systems
- Installing & upgrading RADAR, VHF & microwave equipment
- Fault-finding across RF & telecoms systems
- Working across multiple unique sites along the river
What we're looking for:
- Solid background in RF/radio/telecoms engineering
- Experience with at least 2 of the following: RADAR, VHF, microwave
- Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance & fault-finding
- Comfortable working in the field (and at height!)
- A calm, problem-solving mindset when things get critical
The setup:
