We\’re Hiring: Embedded Software Consultant – Cambridge, UK

Permanent | Full-Time On Site | £50,000 – £80,000 (dependant on experience) + Exceptional Benefits

Looking to work at the cutting edge of embedded technology in national security and defence? We’re partnering with a high-impact technology consultancy based in the Cambridge area, who are on a mission to tackle the UK’s most complex cyber and tech challenges.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop embedded software for mission-critical systems
  • Work across the full product lifecycle: concept, prototyping, testing, delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in electronics, software, and design
  • Tackle technical problems with autonomy and creativity

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in embedded software engineering
  • Strong skills in C, Linux, and one other language (e.g., C++, Python, C#, MATLAB)
  • A degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Desirable: ARM-based development, RTOS, low-level debugging, scripting for test/signal processing
  • Work with a growing, employee-owned organisation with a flat structure
