I'm currently supporting an innovative engineering organisation working on highly advanced electronic and embedded technology projects within a safety-critical environment.
They’re looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering cutting-edge hardware and FPGA solutions.
Key responsibilities include:- FPGA firmware development using VHDL/Verilog
- Embedded systems development
- Full product lifecycle involvement from requirements through to integration & verification
- Digital & analogue electronic circuit design
- PCB schematic capture/layout support using Altium
- Technical leadership & mentorship within the engineering team
- Strong FPGA development experience (Intel Quartus / AMD Vivado)
- Solid background in digital electronics & embedded systems
- Experience across the full engineering lifecycle
- Understanding of PCB design & real-time systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to MATLAB, Python or C
- Experience within complex or safety-critical engineering environments
