Working with a manufacturing business seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead and evolve its company-wide quality strategy across a complex, multi-site environment.

This is a senior leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, maintaining robust compliance standards, and embedding a proactive quality culture across the organisation.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS), lead multi-site quality teams, and ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations and audit requirements.

You will play a key role in shaping quality strategy, improving business performance, and supporting product and process excellence across the full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering the company quality strategy
  • Leading and developing high-performing QA/QC teams
  • Managing and improving QMS governance, CAPA processes, change control, and audit readiness
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations and engineering
  • Leading internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory inspections
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across products, systems, and processes
  • Ensuring quality standards are embedded throughout new product introduction and operational activities
  • Delivering meaningful KPI reporting and supporting senior management reviews
  • Building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Proven senior quality leadership experience within a highly regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and compliance frameworks
  • Experience leading audit activity and maintaining inspection readiness
  • Demonstrable success driving continuous improvement and operational quality performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability across multi-site operations
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required
  • Knowledge of regulated manufacturing standards such as ISO frameworks and MDSAP is highly desirable
