About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a well-established and respected organisation operating within a unique and prestigious sector. Sitting within the Technology function, this role works alongside data engineers while being embedded across business units — acting as the strategic bridge between business leaders and the technology team.
You will translate commercial problems into data-driven solutions and ensure those solutions are owned, understood and sustained by the business areas they serve. This is a genuinely impactful role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and commercial strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as a trusted liaison between business leaders and the data engineering team to ensure technology delivers real commercial value
- Translating complex business problems into clear, actionable data requirements and solutions
- Driving data governance principles and embedding best practices across multiple business units
- Owning stakeholder relationships at a senior level — influencing, communicating, and managing expectations effectively
- Supporting the development and delivery of data strategies that align with organisational goals
- Ensuring data solutions are adopted, understood and sustained by the teams they serve
