The Role
As a Senior RF Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge electronic products from initial concept through to validated prototype. You will work alongside highly experienced engineers in a collaborative, technically driven environment, with access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and test equipment.
This role suits an engineer who thrives on variety, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable communicating technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF, microwave, and analogue electronic circuits
- Lead technical work packages from concept through to design verification
- Build and test hardware prototypes using advanced RF test equipment
- Support system-level design activities for wireless, radio, or radar systems
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Communicate technical progress and solutions to customers and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers
Required Skills & Experience
- MEng or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ post-graduate experience in RF electronics design
- Strong experience designing RF-based circuits such as amplifiers, filters, and frequency synthesers
- Proven ability to take products from concept through to verified design
- Solid understanding of RF, microwave, and analogue design principles
- Confident working hands-on in a laboratory environment
