The Role

As a Senior RF Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge electronic products from initial concept through to validated prototype. You will work alongside highly experienced engineers in a collaborative, technically driven environment, with access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and test equipment.

This role suits an engineer who thrives on variety, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable communicating technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF, microwave, and analogue electronic circuits
  • Lead technical work packages from concept through to design verification
  • Build and test hardware prototypes using advanced RF test equipment
  • Support system-level design activities for wireless, radio, or radar systems
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Communicate technical progress and solutions to customers and stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers

Required Skills & Experience

  • MEng or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5+ years' post-graduate experience in RF electronics design
  • Strong experience designing RF-based circuits such as amplifiers, filters, and frequency synthesizers
  • Proven ability to take products from concept through to verified design
  • Solid understanding of RF, microwave, and analogue design principles
  • Confident working hands-on in a laboratory environment
