The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Insight Analyst to join our client's Technology and Data team. This role combines hands-on analytics with strong business partnering responsibilities, acting as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You'll work closely with leaders across the organisation to understand challenges, identify opportunities and translate business requirements into meaningful data solutions. Using data, insights and reporting tools, you'll help drive better decision-making and deliver measurable business value. This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with stakeholders, gathering requirements and turning complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand objectives, challenges and information requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather, define and prioritise business requirements
  • Translate business needs into reporting, dashboarding and analytical solutions
  • Work closely with data engineers and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and self-service analytics solutions
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Support the development of a data-driven culture by promoting the effective use of insight and reporting
  • Ensure data quality, governance and best practice principles are embedded within solutions
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and drive continuous improvement

About You

  • Proven experience as an Insight Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role
  • Strong experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
  • Power BI skills including dashboard development and data visualisation
  • Experience translating business problems into actionable insight
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working alongside technical teams such as Data Engineering, BI or Technology functions
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand organisational objectives
