The Role

You'll provide day-to-day technical support across hardware, software, and business applications, ensuring users receive a reliable and responsive IT service. Working closely with wider technical teams, you'll also contribute to system improvements, documentation, device deployments, and ongoing support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT incidents and service requests
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Support Microsoft technologies and end-user devices
  • Assist with device setup, onboarding, and user administration
  • Support remote connectivity and networking issues
  • Escalate more complex technical issues where required
  • Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles
  • Assist with upgrades, deployments, and improvement projects
  • Support patching, endpoint security, and compliance activities

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within an IT Support or Service Desk environment
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows environments
    • Microsoft applications and services
    • User account administration
    • Hardware troubleshooting
    • Basic networking fundamentals
  • Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively

Desirable Experience

  • ITIL or similar service management exposure
  • Microsoft certifications or administration experience
  • Experience with device management tools
  • Exposure to ERP or business systems support
  • Experience supporting system upgrades or improvement projects
