We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in West Drayton and take ownership of our day-to-day operations and long-term business planning. You will be the operational backbone of the business, overseeing the full lifecycle of R&D projects while partnering with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction and future growth of the company.
- Leading and managing all R&D projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical objectives are met.
- Working closely with the leadership team on business planning, capacity forecasting, and long-term strategic development.
- Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks to improve throughput and quality.
- Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across engineering, commercial, and supply chain teams.
- Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
- Supporting resource planning, headcount requirements, and team development initiatives.
Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or equivalent) role within the RF, electronics, or engineering industry (this is essential). Strong understanding of R&D project management methodologies and engineering workflows. Commercially aware, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to business planning and growth strategy. Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
£70,000 – £80,000 base salary (depending on experience). Full-time, on-site position based in West Drayton. A key leadership role with genuine influence over the direction of the business. Opportunity to help shape the next phase of company growth.
