AccelerComm was founded by Rob Maunder, whose vision during his tenure as a professor at the University of Southampton was to establish a company centred around his wireless communications PhD research team. This team continues to drive the development of the technology, so you will be working with some of the world’s top experts in 5G communications. Since its inception, AccelerComm has been dedicated to advancing the field of wireless communications, and today we continue to grow our Southampton-based centre of excellence. Our commitment to excellence is driven by our vision to accelerate the development of the next generation of wireless communications worldwide. We work on a hybrid basis, with most of the team spending two or three days a week in the office. This gives you the opportunity to work closely with your colleagues and have real input into how the business moves forward. Given the nature of this role, the successful candidate should have an understanding that their presence in the office will be required more often.
Key Responsibilities

- This role is not a direct contributory role to product development; however, the role necessitates balancing operational development needs of the product teams against hardware and infrastructure availability, and the successful candidate should expect to be taking part in the full range of tasks in supporting and developing on-prem infrastructure.
- Assist in the implementation of internal tools to simplify the operational activities associated with AccelerComm’s day-to-day infrastructure tasks.
