The Role: Associate Account Manager, Advantage by AP Location: UK. The Associate Account Manager, Affiliate Marketing position is a remote, work-from-home role, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners. Some travel is required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events. The Associate Account Manager will serve as the key point of contact for a portfolio of UK Advantage clients. This role will lead the client relationship, ensure client satisfaction, manage client deliverables, account strategy and execution. The person will delegate operational tasks to supporting team members while ensuring accountability is clear and deadlines are met.

  • Lead, manage and hold your team accountable: Leads team and is accountable for timeliness and quality of deliverables. Is viewed as a reliable, go‑to person. Comfortable with team delegation; clearly sets expectations, clarifies boundaries, and ensures clear work assignments. Maintains composure and personal engagement through difficult and stressful situations while keeping others motivated.
  • Client service and communication: Consistently provides strong and quality client service, acts as a point of contact, and escalates issues or key risks as appropriate. Works with teams to ensure client trust by overseeing client outputs and communication delivered in the AP way, while maintaining a high level of innovation and strategy. Develops and nurtures excellent relationships, reflected in very high client satisfaction and retention rates with a net promoter score of 8+.
  • Account strategy & execution: Manages successful client programs by developing effective strategies and efficient tactical plans for achieving client goals and objectives. Manages client scope and escalates any related issues accordingly.
  • Portfolio management: Manages multiple campaigns with solid organizational skills and the ability to focus on and prioritize tasks based on client objectives and scope. Delivers on time under terms; identifies new opportunities to drive client success while solving issues.
  • Innovation & efficiency: Thinks big picture and outside the box to find ways to discover and recruit new partners. Pays attention to industry trends, particularly as it pertains to new partners and recruitment tactics.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • By 6 months: The Associate Account Manager is owning and serving as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients. Strong relationships with key client contacts are formed. Challenges are managed in close collaboration with the Senior Account Manager, with a solutions‑oriented approach. Client data is leveraged efficiently. Client accounts are handled effectively and strategically, with targets and KPIs met and Net Promoter Scores at 8+.
  • By 1 year: The Associate Account Manager takes full accountability for their portfolio. Excellent recruitment strategies and communication are in place. Leadership, delegation, and team accountability are achieved. Clients are serviced profitably, deliverables are A‑caliber, and Net Promoter Scores remain consistent at 8+.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of online marketing, e‑commerce, or affiliate marketing experience.
  • Direct affiliate marketing experience (in‑house, agency, network).
  • Knowledge of affiliate networks or SaaS platforms (ShareASale, Commission Junction, Impact, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • UK market knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (formulas, report customization).
  • Working knowledge of HTML (plus).
  • Previous experience managing and motivating direct reports (plus).
