Overview
The Account Manager, Affiliate Marketing is a remote, work-from-home role. Some travel is required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events. This position requires the candidate to be located in the UK or Germany and fluent in French.
Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Collaborate with Account Directors and Senior Account Managers to cultivate strong client relationships and deliver high-quality outputs; lead discussions on partnership opportunities and use data insights to pitch innovations aligned with client objectives; manage day-to-day campaign execution and support senior team members in maintaining client relationships.
- Data Analytics & Strategic Recommendations: Analyze performance data to generate actionable insights, forecast trends, and present data-driven recommendations to align client KPIs with broader business goals.
- Campaign & Strategic Partner Management: Nurture relationships with key partners, attend industry events, and proactively suggest ideas contributing to client success and long-term growth.
- Operational Execution & Tactical Adjustments: Execute affiliate marketing strategies across accounts, monitor performance, and adjust tactics to optimize client outcomes.
- Leadership, Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor Associate Account Managers and foster collaboration and professional development.
What Success Looks Like
- By 6 Months: Support multiple client accounts, build strong relationships with key contacts, and assist with client strategy and questions as needed. Use data insights to optimize campaigns and present actionable recommendations; achieve client KPIs and high satisfaction.
- By 1 Year: Take accountability for client programs, drive strategic execution and maximize account performance. Coach Associate Account Managers and contribute to team growth; maintain high client satisfaction with Net Promoter Scores of 8+.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent in French
- 3-5 years of online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience
- Direct affiliate marketing experience (agency, in-house, or network)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable analyzing data
- Experience with Affiliate Networks (e.g., ShareASale, Commission Junction, Impact) is a plus
