An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable and growing multi-disciplinary building services contractor working alongside Tier 1 main contractors on major UK projects. This role offers the chance to play a key part in commercial delivery while developing within a successful, forward-thinking business.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be part of an established, innovative building services engineering contractor delivering projects across residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors, with offices throughout the UK and Ireland and a strong record of continued growth.
As a Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing project costs from early design through to practical completion and final account.
- Preparing and progressing monthly valuations, variations and cost reporting.
- Maintaining financial control including job cost reviews, cashflow and final accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Reviewing contracts, identifying commercial risks and supporting efficient project delivery.
The successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification.
- 3+ years' experience within a building construction or M&E environment.
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial cost control processes.
