With a strong pipeline of sustainable retrofit programmes, significant investment in low-carbon technologies and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to strengthen their technical team, deliver high-quality engineering solutions and play a key role in the transition towards a more sustainable built environment.
Responsibilities
- Designing Solar PV, Battery Storage, LV Distribution and other low-carbon electrical systems
- Producing electrical designs, calculations and schematics using AutoCAD and PVcase
- Leading electrical design packages across RIBA Stages 2–5 and coordinating DNO applications
- Reviewing designs, ensuring regulatory compliance and mentoring junior engineers
Requirements
- Strong electrical design experience across LV systems, Solar PV and Battery Storage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVcase, with Revit or BIM experience advantageous
- Knowledge of BS 7671, DNO requirements and electrical building services design
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with CEng status advantageous
