As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing mechanical components including gearboxes, bearings and large industrial machinery
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and proactive servicing programmes
- Providing hands-on technical support to customers across the UK and Ireland, with occasional international travel
- Coordinating service activities with the UK-based engineering team and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
The successful Field Service Engineer should have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance or engineering within a heavy industrial environment
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel and stay away when required
- A proactive and hands-on approach with strong fault-finding and mechanical engineering skills
