An exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional to work for a long established industry leading organisation, on a diverse portfolio of live event production and audio-visual solutions. If you have an open minded creative approach to problem solving and a background in H&S for temporary installation projects, this position will allow you to use your expertise to deliver results alongside a highly experienced team.
Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Officer who is capable of working in conjunction with technical engineers, project managers and creative designers to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring the relevant standards are upheld. As an organisation that often works around members of the general public, H&S is paramount, both for their staff and clientele. The variety of projects is sure to keep you engaged and learning continuously, certainly not a repetitive role and one that will not be available for long!
Your Role as a Health & Safety Officer will Include:
- Working with project teams on site ensuring H&S standards are adhered to
- Writing and improving policies and producing safe systems of work (RAMS, COSHH, Training etc)
- Consulting with pre-production teams and advising on proposed solutions
- Even split between on site and office based work
The successful Health & Safety Officer will need:
- Health & Safety experience and qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, LOLA, RIDDOR, COSHH)
- Ability to support company operations proactively and reactively, in line with the law, standards and audits
- Experience or certifications relevant to event production, AV or rigging (BS7909, NRC, NELT, IPAF)
