This organisation is an established electrical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Wales. With continued growth within their renewable energy division, they are now looking for an Electrical Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of Solar PV projects from design and planning through to installation, commissioning and handover. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career within one of the fastest-growing areas of the electrical industry, whilst working on predominantly local projects with no requirement for regular staying away.
As an Electrical Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full project lifecycle across commercial and industrial Solar PV installations, from design and planning through to commissioning and handover
- Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
- Managing project documentation, technical requirements, health & safety and ensuring installations meet relevant industry standards
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders whilst managing project progress, quality and delivery
The successful Electrical Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience managing electrical projects, ideally with Solar PV or renewable energy experience
- Strong electrical understanding and the ability to manage technically complex installations
- Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
