An excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable and growing multi-disciplinary building services contractor working alongside Tier 1 main contractors on major UK projects. This role offers the chance to take greater commercial ownership across projects while developing within a successful, forward-thinking business.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of an established, innovative building services engineering contractor delivering projects across residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors, with offices throughout the UK and Ireland and a strong record of continued growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking commercial responsibility for projects from early design through to practical completion and final account.
- Preparing and managing monthly valuations, variations, CVR reporting and cost control.
- Maintaining financial performance including cashflow forecasting, job cost reviews and final accounts.
- Managing subcontract procurement and supporting junior commercial staff where required.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Reviewing contracts, identifying commercial risk and ensuring successful project delivery.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification.
- 5+ years' experience within a building construction or M&E environment.
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and proven commercial project delivery experience.
