Your Role as Mechanical Workshop Engineer will include:
- Refurbishment and repair of mechanical components including rolls and dies
- Dismantling and assembly of industrial machinery and components
- Identifying faults and replacing parts such as bearings and seals
- Operating and programming CNC equipment including grinders and countersink machines
The successful Mechanical Workshop Engineer will have:
- Strong mechanical engineering background (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable)
- Experience working with gearboxes, bearings and industrial machinery
- Knowledge of machine shop practices or CNC equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
