With a strong pipeline of work and a clear plan to build its own installation teams, this role is ideal for an ambitious electrical professional looking to develop their career within the renewable energy industry. Our client is an established and rapidly growing renewable energy company specialising in domestic and commercial Solar PV installations. Having grown to approximately £2.5 million turnover within the last two years, the business is now targeting £5 million next year and shows no signs of slowing down.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking for an Electrical Improver to join their expanding team. The company places a strong emphasis on developing its engineers, offering extensive training and a clear pathway to progress into Supervisor and Team Leader positions as they continue to build their own installation teams.
As an Electrical Improver, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of domestic Solar PV systems
- Assisting with electrical installations, wiring, containment and associated equipment
- Working alongside experienced Solar PV and electrical engineers while developing your technical skills
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
The successful Electrical Improver should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th edition
- Solar PV Bpec (Desirable)
- Previous electrical installation experience, with Solar PV experience (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to cover projects across Kent
