Accelerate Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client for a HGV 1 Driver, within the Thetford area for day work. We are pleased to be recruiting for our client who is the UK’s largest tyre collector and processor with National Coverage. From artificial turf infill and playground rubber mulch to carpet underlay and road surfaces, no part of the tyre is wasted. This role will involve taking trailers to various locations nationwide , trailer swapping with loaded trailers of recycled tyres and returning to the depot. As a HGV 1 driver will be required to carry out vehicle checks prior to departure, follow the planned route and complete all paperwork returning it to the client with the keys at the end of your shift. Walking floor trailer experience is desirable but not essential. You will be expected to have good customer service and liaise with our client throughout the day if required. We work closely with our drivers to offer flexibility and accommodate hours and shifts to suit your needs.
