Accelerate Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for a Transport Manager to join their team. As a Transport Manager for this role you will be responsible for overseeing daily transport operations. This role would be suited for someone with good knowledge of UK roads. You will be responsible for creating cost effective and environmentally friendly delivery routes while supporting the drivers and transport team. Utilising the system to maximise route planning within the given time constraints and service criteria. You will be expected to have good leadership skills and be able to manage a core fleet of 23 units along with shunt vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the same role is desired
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Communicating and liaising with other departments ensuring a smooth and effective operation
