Accelerate Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a HGV 2 Dust Cart Driver, You will be required to deliver an efficient and effective waste collection service for residents and businesses across the district.

This is a Temp-Perm opportunity for a driver who values the environment, enjoys driving, and takes pride in leading a small team to support the delivery of this vital service.

This role primarily involves driving a refuse collection vehicle and operating across multiple waste streams.

You will also be expected to help with lifting when required.

Key Responsibilities
Collecting multiple waste streams in line with Council methods and arrangements.

Working to prescribed health and safety requirements, ensuring no impact on the public while completing the round.

Ensuring transport management requirements are met at all times.

Supervising the designated crew throughout the round.

Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift and promptly reporting faults.

Working as part of the team to meet service standards, targets, and performance indicators.

Requirements
Valid UK driving licence with Category C entitlement CPC & Tachograph Card Previous driving experience Good communication skills and team work Ability to help with manual lifting when required
